Via Gusta was founded to introduce culinary enthusiasts and professionals to sustainably produced, local foods at home and around the globe. It is Via Gusta’s mission to help the global food community to discover, meet, and support each other locally and worldwide.

Reconnecting with the food we eat makes us better informed about the impact of the choices we make. Connecting directly with producers puts money in their pockets while giving us a voice about the foods we want to eat. The increasingly global economy creates tremendous challenges to local and traditional foods; it also uncovers unprecedented possibilities to explore, interact, and learn.

Via Gusta’s team explores traditional foods around the world, at every step from the field to the table. We believe in local feasts, hands-on cooking, support for small business, and direct interaction with the people and organizations who put food on your table.
